Experienced Business to Business Collections Specialist

About the role

Bill Gosling Outsourcing is seeking an experienced Business‑to‑Business Collections Specialist to manage and recover outstanding commercial accounts. You will work directly with business clients, handling overdue invoices, resolving payment disputes, and negotiating payment arrangements to achieve timely resolutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of delinquent B2B accounts, maintaining up‑to‑date records of payments, status, and communications.
• Contact business customers via phone, email, and other channels to follow up on past‑due invoices.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account disputes.
• Negotiate payment plans tailored to client circumstances and company guidelines.
• Prioritize collection activities based on aging and account status.
• Document all collection activities and interactions accurately.
• Report on collection performance, aging, and outstanding balances as required.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial collections and account management.
• Strong judgment, professional communication, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle collection conversations and resolve account issues effectively.
• Comfortable working toward collection and performance targets.
