Finance Intern - Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor (Season 2027)

About the role

Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, reopened in August 2024 after an extensive restoration, is looking for a Finance Intern for the 2027 season. The internship gives hands-on experience in the financial operations of a luxury hotel, supporting the team in daily accounting tasks, financial reporting and process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Account receivable: manage OPERA system customer invoicing and travel agency accounts, review aging and outstanding debts, prepare credit meetings, post deposits and review events and groups
• Income audit: collect and audit paperwork from all revenue centres, ensure accurate revenue capture and recording, monitor house account meals and entertainment expenses, balance income against the originating system and assist guests and other departments with accounting enquiries
• Account payable: verify and record supplier invoices, schedule payments, follow up discrepancies and contact suppliers on invoice or contract questions

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Hospitality or a related field
• Fluent spoken and written Spanish or English
• Previous experience not required; internships or finance/accounting exposure, preferably in hotels, is an advantage
• Legal right to work in Spain

Required skills

• Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls
• Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks or similar
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills for data analysis and reporting
• Accuracy, organisation, initiative and clear written and verbal communication

Schedule: seasonal full-time contract, 40 hours per week, with consecutive and rotating shifts including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends.
