Financial Due Diligence Analyst – Barcelona

About the role

PwC’s Deals Transaction Services team is looking for a Financial Due Diligence professional to join its Barcelona office. The role supports both buy‑side and sell‑side engagements, providing data‑driven insights that help clients maximise value from mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements, forecasts and assumptions for corporate and private‑equity clients.
• Perform buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Leverage data‑analytics tools to generate actionable insights for deal teams.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑border teams across Spain, Portugal, Italy, the US and LATAM.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, international environment.
