Financial Operations Support

About the role

Cigna Healthcare is looking for a Financial Operations Support professional to handle financial reconciliation and reporting for its Life Protection Services (LPS) business. The role covers verifying medical provider invoices, reconciling bordereaux with insurers, managing outstanding receivables and payables, and cleaning up old unreconciled amounts. It also supports audits, fraud follow-ups and liaison with actuarial and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Verify, code and liaise with Finance on the accuracy of medical provider invoices before payment.
• Extract, validate and deliver the annuity monthly report to the Actuarial team.
• Review and reconcile bordereaux with insurer partners.
• Resolve financial and administrative issues directly with insurers.
• Ensure line-of-business accuracy across accident-related accounts.
• Maintain oversight of outstanding receivables and payables.
• Resolve old, unreconciled amounts across all LPS accounts.
• Maintain the single point of contact list across LPS and partner organisations.
• Provide financial controls documentation and evidence trails for audits, and support fraud case follow-ups and cross-team alignment.

Required profile

• Prior experience in financial operations, reconciliation, accounting or insurance/claims financial administration.
• Good stakeholder-management skills, with experience liaising directly with insurers and Finance/Actuarial teams.
• Ability to independently prioritise and manage a recurring reconciliation and reporting workload.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Nice to have: experience in an international employee-benefits, life and protection or insurance operations environment, and prior support of audits or regulatory reviews.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of insurer bordereau processes, regulatory reporting and accounts receivable/payable concepts.
• Comfort with financial data, spreadsheets and reconciliation tools.
• Nice to have: familiarity with Salesforce or similar case/claims management systems.
