About the role
This front office internship in Barcelona gives you hands-on experience in a professional hotel while developing your skills in guest relations, customer service and hotel operations. You receive full training within the front office department, learning how to welcome guests, manage reservations and deliver an excellent guest experience in an international environment.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with international guests
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures
- Review and manage reservations in the Opera system
- Create and confirm bookings, including those with companies and travel agencies
- Organize and process payments
- Handle phone calls and emails
- Support and observe hotel event organization
- In the final weeks, work more independently as a receptionist with ongoing support
What we offer
- A full-time internship of 12 weeks, 40 hours per week
- Monthly internship allowance of 400 EUR (net)
