Global Licensing Business Development Associate

About the role

Fever, a global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for an entrepreneurial Global Licensing Business Development Associate to join its Licensing team. The role owns the commercial development of assigned international regions end to end: mapping markets, originating partner conversations, negotiating licensing agreements and coordinating their launch. It suits someone with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for the entertainment industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business development strategy for assigned international regions, identifying high-potential markets, partners and opportunities.
• Sourcing and building relationships with promoters, producers, agencies, venue operators and other partners.
• Lead outbound commercial conversations and manage the full deal pipeline, from outreach through proposal, negotiation and contract execution.
• Create tailored commercial proposals and licensing structures for different IPs, territories and partners.
• Assess opportunities through revenue, cost and profitability analysis with Finance, and negotiate terms balancing growth, profitability and brand protection.
• Manage a portfolio of prospective and active partners and collaborate with Legal, Finance, Operations, Marketing and Production.
• Monitor market trends and competitors, maintain pipeline reporting and present progress and forecasts to leadership.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, consulting, investment banking, strategic roles or a similar commercial environment.
• Ability to originate opportunities, build senior-level relationships and lead complex commercial conversations.
• Analytical and financially minded, with experience building business cases and evaluating P&Ls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and professional English; additional languages are a strong plus.
• A genuine interest in live entertainment and global IPs is highly valued.
