Global Payroll & Benefits Specialist (Madrid)

About the role

Fever, a global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for an experienced Global Payroll & Benefits Specialist based in Madrid. The role sits in the People Operations team and acts as the link between the HR team and external payroll providers, covering payroll, benefits and other HR functions on an international scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own and scale payroll operations across international locations, working with external providers
• Ensure accurate, timely payments and compliance with tax and social security regulations
• Monitor and report on salary costs and analyse trends
• Answer employee questions on payroll, tax and social security
• Work with HR and Finance teams on payroll issues
• Administer employee benefits and implement new perks
• Drive continuous improvement in the Payroll & Benefits team

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in payroll and benefits; international payroll experience is a plus
• Advanced English (C1 or higher); other languages are an asset
• Strong attention to detail, good communication and a collaborative mindset
• Proactive, solutions-oriented and focused on process improvement

Required skills

• Strong Excel or Google Sheets
• Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Personio is an advantage
