Global Procurement Specialist

About the role

Join a multinational industrial company and help shape its global procurement strategy. You will work across Europe and Latin America, collaborating with local procurement teams to drive supplier development, digitalisation, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support procurement teams at manufacturing sites in Europe and Latin America.
• Contribute to the definition and rollout of the corporate direct procurement strategy.
• Negotiate with national and international suppliers for raw materials, components and production materials.
• Lead supplier sourcing, qualification, evaluation and development processes.
• Identify cost‑saving, standardisation and synergy opportunities across sites.
• Participate in global framework agreements and strategic contract negotiations.
• Analyse market trends, commodity developments and supply risks.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, supply chain and operations on continuous‑improvement projects.
• Develop and monitor procurement KPIs, dashboards and reporting.
• Support digitalisation of procurement systems, tools and data quality.
• Take part in corporate transformation projects aimed at improving the procurement function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5‑8 years of procurement experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience in direct procurement of raw materials, components or production materials.
• Proven track record negotiating with national and international suppliers.
• Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and supply‑chain management.
• High level of English for an international environment.
