Head of CRM

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Head of CRM in Barcelona. You will take full ownership of the marketing communication strategy and lead a team of 3 lifecycle specialists, working closely with tech, data, design and brand teams. The role covers customer engagement, activation and retention, from the first app download to becoming a loyal advocate.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive the CRM automated marketing communication strategy across all lifecycle stages (onboarding, engagement, reactivation, retention).
• Plan, launch and optimise multi-channel campaigns (email, push notifications, in-app messaging) to keep users engaged.
• Manage and inspire a team of 3 lifecycle specialists.
• Work with tech, data, design and brand teams to make strategies effective and scalable, using new technologies for segmentation and personalisation.
• Analyse user behaviour to improve messaging and segmentation, optimising for customer lifetime value.
• Test new ideas and stay ahead of lifecycle marketing trends.

Required profile

• 8+ years in lifecycle marketing or CRM, with segmentation, automated journeys and personalised communication.
• 3+ years working closely with analysts and data teams.
• Management experience leading a team of CRM specialists.
• Experience with the operational and system side of CRM.
• Strategic mindset, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, and a hands-on approach.
• Preferred: degree in Business Administration, Economics or Marketing (Master's advantageous); experience in startups, food delivery growth departments or international environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Marketing automation tools such as Braze, HubSpot or Salesforce (Braze experience is a plus)
• Data analysis and user segmentation
