Head of Data & AI Products - International Health

About the role

Cigna Healthcare is looking for a Head of Data & AI Products for its International Health business. The role defines and executes the enterprise data, analytics and artificial intelligence strategy across International Health markets, leading Data Product Ownership, Data Engineering, data-related AI enablement, operational support models and organizational capability development. It acts as the key liaison between business leaders, CIOs and regional stakeholders, and leads a globally distributed team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Data Product Owner organization and mature a business-aligned Data Product Ownership framework, defining ownership models, accountabilities and success measures.
• Define and maintain the Data & AI operating model, including RACI models for Data Product Ownership, Data Lifecycle Ownership, Data Engineering, Production Support and AI Solutions.
• Partner with Data Engineering leadership to set efficient intake, delivery, deployment and support processes, and clarify ownership across development, production support, incident management and lifecycle management.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, reliability, automation and scalability, and oversee the transition of data products from development to production operations.
• Lead the Data & AI engagement model across international markets and business units, partnering with regional CIOs and business leaders on market-specific priorities.
• Provide executive oversight for strategic automation initiatives (CDI and GOP programs) and maintain governance for roadmap alignment, delivery readiness, risk management and executive reporting.
• Lead and develop a global Data & AI organization, including organizational structure, workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning and leadership pipelines.
• Manage Data & AI portfolio financials, budgets, forecasting and investment planning, and build business cases and value realization frameworks.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Data, Analytics, AI, Technology or Digital Transformation.
• Experience leading global, cross-functional teams and building and scaling Data Product Management organizations.
• Proven experience partnering with Data Engineering, Architecture and Business Leadership teams, and establishing governance, operating models and organizational transformation programs.
• Experience managing budgets, investment portfolios and strategic planning.
• Preferred: healthcare or health insurance experience, Data as a Product implementation, AI strategy and governance leadership, agile product management background (SAFe, Scrum).
