Head of Procurement, Global

About the role

Enfinity Global, an independent power producer developing, financing, building, operating and owning renewable energy assets across Europe, Asia and the Americas, is looking for a Head of Procurement, Global. Based in Madrid on a hybrid basis, the role defines and leads the company's procurement function as it scales its renewable energy portfolio, establishing a coherent global strategy and driving consistency and efficiency across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the global procurement strategy and budget across PV, BESS and HV projects.
• Define the regional strategy for EPC contractors and services, balancing full-service EPC delivery with direct procurement of plant material.
• Homogenize procurement activities across projects, moving from project-by-project management to a unified, scalable operating model.
• Lead contract strategy and negotiation with Legal, securing robust commercial and risk terms on high-value agreements.
• Build, organize and lead distributed procurement teams across regions, with emphasis on people management, development and team enablement.
• Manage relationships with Asset Management, Engineering, Construction and Structured Finance to align procurement with project delivery and financing.
• Drive cost management, savings and supplier relationship management across a growing supplier base.
• Lead regional procurement heads, setting standards, governance and accountability across markets.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven experience leading procurement at scale, ideally in renewable energy and large-CAPEX construction.
• Experience defining procurement strategy and building teams across multiple regions; US and EU experience is a must.
• English required; Spanish and/or Italian are a strong plus.
• Willingness to work in Madrid (hybrid model).

Required skills

• Strong command of EPC and commodity procurement (PV / BESS / HV is a strong advantage).
• Negotiation, leadership, decision-making under pressure and cross-cultural adaptability.
