Health Program Manager

About the role

Cigna Healthcare is looking for a Health Program Manager in Madrid. The role sits in the Health Organization department, part of International Health Delivery Services, which covers Provider Network, Provider Operations, Payment Integrity, Clinical, Partnerships & Control and Strategy and Transformation. The manager leads strategic initiatives and business transformation across the Provider Organization, reporting to the Head of Strategy and Transformation Director.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage strategic projects from inception to completion, aligned with organizational goals.
• Work with senior leadership and stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, timelines, governance, business case and resources.
• Develop project plans with schedules, budgets, risk assessments and communication strategies.
• Monitor progress, address risks and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate collaboration between internal teams (D&A, Technology, PSO) and external partners.
• Prepare project updates, executive presentations and post-implementation reviews.
• Analyse outcomes, capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or a related field (Master or equivalent preferred).
• 7+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.
• Experience in Claims, Pre-authorization, Network, Reconciliation, Strategy, Finance, Change management or similar functions.
• Change management experience supporting organizational change initiatives.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Preferred: ability to speak and write in languages other than English.
