Housekeeping Attendant – Hotel Barceló Illetas Albatros

About the role

The Hotel Barceló Illetas Albatros is looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to ensure rooms and public areas are clean, well‑maintained, and ready for guests. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to uphold the hotel’s high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cleaning materials, products, and equipment before each shift.
• Clean and arrange guest rooms and common areas, checking the condition of furniture and facilities.
• Make beds, ventilate rooms, restock linens, toiletries, minibar items, and replace any missing supplies.
• Inspect rooms for damages and report any issues according to hotel procedures.
• Assist guests during their stay, handle lost‑and‑found items, and respond to complaints within the scope of the role.
• Collect used linens and send them to the laundry, ensuring all housekeeping carts are properly stocked.

Required profile

• Basic secondary education (ESO) or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping role is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of English is a plus.
• Customer‑oriented attitude, teamwork, and strong organizational skills.
• Motivation, responsibility, and a focus on order and quality.
