HR Business Partner - Fuengirola

About the role

Viking Assistance Group, a roadside and insurance assistance provider with offices in Spain including Fuengirola, is looking for an HR Business Partner for its Fuengirola operations. The role sits close to the business and its people, combining operational HR work, recruitment and business-focused support. It is based at the Fuengirola office and requires an on-site presence; candidates already living in Spain are particularly welcomed.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment and support throughout the recruitment process
• Employee onboarding and offboarding
• Ongoing HR support for managers and employees
• Payroll support and administration relating to employment, absence, compensation and other HR documentation
• Supporting managers with difficult conversations, follow-ups and employee relations matters
• Advising managers on performance, procedures and employment law matters
• Employer branding and employee experience
• Employee learning and development
• Improving HR processes and procedures
• Other HR tasks based on business needs

Required profile

• Broad HR experience, including recruitment
• Relevant qualification in HR, personnel management or a related field
• Confident working with managers and employees, able to manage work independently
• Flexible, solution-oriented and able to handle sensitive employee relations cases
• Independent, organised and trustworthy
• Experience in an international organisation or HR work in Spain is an advantage

Required skills

• Understanding of payroll processes and HR administration
• Experience supporting managers with employee relations matters and difficult conversations
• Scandinavian language and English
