HR Generalist - Valladolid Plant

About the role

Adient is looking for an HR Generalist based in Valladolid. The role covers routine HR administration, support to the Valladolid plant and its HR policies, and acts as the main point of contact for employees and managers on HR matters.

Key responsibilities

• Handle routine HR inquiries and conduct HR transactions such as orientation, leave requests and exit meetings
• Process HRIS transactions and ensure data integrity and quality
• Act as the first point of contact for HR policies, processes and self-service tools, escalating to internal COEs and external resources when needed
• Take part in location events and help with departmental HR projects and initiatives
• Write clear documentation for procedures, work processes and reports, and prepare HR scorecards and dashboards
• Analyse HR data to find performance gaps and suggest process improvements
• Local duties: absenteeism and overtime reporting, hiring and onboarding of new employees
• Define general HR policies for the Valladolid plant and adapt the organisation structure when the department changes
• Support the payroll department with some payroll calculations, monitor plant permits and their supporting documents
• Help run the performance management system, resolve collective internal issues and organise communication systems for employees
• Gather information on labour environment risks through surveys and assessments, and set up employee feedback systems
