HR Global Services Advisor 2 with Portuguese

About the role

HP is looking for an HR Global Services Advisor 2 with Portuguese in Sant Cugat del Valles. The role handles HR processes such as onboarding, data management and compliance, advises on service improvements, manages employee records and helps build a better employee experience. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Support HR activities such as pre-hire checks, hiring in the HR system, onboarding, data changes, disability claims, leave of absence, compensation, benefits and termination.
• Initiate, review and approve daily HR system transactions in line with policies and procedures.
• Oversee employee records, support audits, government surveys and reporting.
• Advise departments outside the shared services program and train them on best practices.
• Maintain internal HR control standards, including internal audit points and regulator issues.
• Work with shared services managers to improve processes and systems.
• Educate HR generalists, people managers and employees on how to use HR systems to solve issues themselves.
• Orient new hires and train on new processes, programs and platform rollouts.
• Answer employee questions quickly and accurately on the HR platform and update knowledge database articles.
• Support projects such as acquisition deals.

Required profile

• Portuguese is a must.
• Four-year or graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or commensurate experience; typically 2-4 years of experience, preferably in customer service, or an advanced degree with little or no experience.
• Preferred certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR or SHPR.

• Agile methodology, auditing, automation, business process and requirements.

• Power BI, Tableau, SQL and Workday.
• Project management, workflow management and process improvement.
