Junior Workforce & Business Planning Analyst

About the role

The Junior Business Planner supports business planning, capacity analysis and operational reporting for the Inside Sales Hub in Barcelona, serving multiple geographies and language profiles. The role turns workforce and operational data into insights that help leaders anticipate capacity needs, identify gaps and prioritise actions. It works with sales managers, Finance, HR and Talent Acquisition, maintaining planning dashboards, preparing leadership reviews and coordinating hub programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Support workforce and capacity plans, monitoring available capacity, staffing gaps and hiring progress (open positions, fill rates, time-to-fill).
• Maintain dashboards and recurring reports on capacity, hiring, attrition and development, and prepare planning reviews and presentations for leadership.
• Analyse voluntary attrition, coaching completion, training compliance and development activities, and support data-driven recommendations for workforce stability.
• Coordinate the university graduate programme: track hiring, onboarding, retention and progression, and report to managers.
• Coordinate hub engagement, recognition, networking and community activities, including event planning and follow-up.
• Work with sales managers, Finance, HR and Talent Acquisition to align planning assumptions and track agreed actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Human Resources or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in business planning, business operations, workforce planning, analytics or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal English.
• Preferred: capacity planning, operational reporting or workforce analytics experience, Power BI knowledge, exposure to sales operations or a multilingual environment, and graduate-program coordination experience.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Preferred: Power BI or similar reporting and visualization tools.
