HR People Support Administrator

About the role

Cummins Inc. is looking for an HR People Support Administrator to join its Human Resources team in San Fernando de Henares, Spain. The role involves supporting HR activities such as compensation, benefits and performance management, with about 10% travel, both internal and international, and internal travel possibly needed later.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, compile and enter data accurately so administrative support is precise and efficient.
• Support HR activities such as compensation, benefits and performance management.
• Assist in conflict resolution and provide coaching and counselling on employment matters.
• Support recruitment by updating the applicant tracking system and coordinating new hire orientation.
• Maintain accurate and complete workforce information in HR systems.
• Research, prepare reports and handle routine and complex information requests.
• Document and maintain departmental policies and procedures.
• Act as an informal mentor for colleagues with less experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience meeting applicable regulations.
• Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills gained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• Experience with Works Council is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in data entry and reporting.
• Clear, professional communication with internal teams and external vendors.
• Familiarity with HR processes such as compensation, benefits, performance management and employee relations.
