Competence and Training Manager (Temporary)

About the role

A temporary Competence and Training Manager position is open at Airbus Operations in Getafe, Spain. The role covers training management, competence tracking and absenteeism data management within the Operations area.

Key responsibilities

• Training management: identify training needs for production staff (BC and WC), support the setup of training sessions, ensure trainer availability and manage the Training Center (room allocation, materials, maintenance)
• Competence management: identify and track required competencies, monitor their status across Operations teams and coordinate training to close competency gaps
• Absenteeism data management: define KPIs, update absenteeism analysis regularly and contribute to action plans that improve workplace well-being and reduce absenteeism

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
• Experience in competence management, preferably in a large industrial or aerospace environment
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Availability for an interim/temporary assignment

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage several priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills and data interpretation
