Human Resources Operations Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Operations Manager will serve as the central hub for all HR activities across two vibrant Madrid theatres. You will ensure seamless payroll processing, maintain strong labor‑union relationships, and drive health‑and‑safety initiatives while supporting recruitment, training, and workforce planning.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise payroll cycles, new hires, and terminations in coordination with the payroll provider.
• Represent the organization in labor‑union matters, fostering a positive work environment and resolving conflicts.
• Coordinate health‑and‑safety policies with external service providers.
• Lead recruitment and selection together with artistic and technical managers.
• Identify training needs and organise development programmes.
• Analyse HR metrics (headcount, FTE, absenteeism) and report insights to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with work‑hour regulations and optimise workforce scheduling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Labor Law or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in HR roles within hospitality, entertainment, retail, FMCG or similar sectors.
• High level of English for stakeholder communication and documentation.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including complex reporting and data analysis.
• Proficiency with personnel‑management tools such as ERP, payroll systems and time‑management software.
