Industrial Means Engineer (Temporary Agency)

About the role

Airbus Getafe Plant's Manufacturing Engineering organization is looking for an Industrial Means Engineer through a temporary agency. The role covers the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of industrial means (jigs, tools and machines) for the structural assembly and equipping of HTPs for the A320, A330 and A350 families and the S19 of the A350, in an automated and robotic manner, and for dry carbon fibre manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead end-to-end industrialization of new industrial means under processes FU.IN.03.02, FU.IN.03.03 and FU.IN.03.06, and their linked processes
• Act as technical responsible for the implemented solution, taking input from Manufacturing Engineering, Production, H&S, Ergonomics, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Transport and handling
• Support maintenance and production with technical expertise to ensure reliable means, safe, ergonomic and maintainable, with a focus on Industry 4.0
• Support program activities for industrial means parts, including master and detailed planning, proposals, CapEx and budgets
• Define concepts and modifications, use CAD (CATIA v5) for concepts and GD&T analysis, and write technical specifications for simple tools to complex autonomous systems
• Lead calls for tenders, evaluate and select suppliers, and manage milestones (KOM, PDR, CDR, CISS, CIPS, FA)
• Manage suppliers for OT, OQ and OC delivery, troubleshoot failures, and support the first uses of delivered means
• Set up and commission new manufacturing and assembly stations, and attend concurrence engineering meetings

Required profile

• Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering
• Advanced English
• High adaptability to new topics, new business and networking
• Nice to have: automotive experience or a master's degree

• C# programming
