Intern, Business Transformation (TMT), Corporate Finance

About the role

FTI Consulting is looking for an intern within its TMT Strategy and Transformation team, based in Barcelona. The team is part of a vertically specialized practice serving Telecom, Media and Technology clients across Europe, working closely with experienced consultants and industry experts. The internship is a full-time, 6-month opportunity starting in the third quarter of 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Support day-to-day project activities, including interaction with colleagues, partners from other firms and client personnel
• Apply business, strategy, finance and analytical skills to client situations such as market sizing, market modeling, strategic planning and business plan assessment
• Help develop strategic plans, business transformations and company integrations
• Draft client presentations on project scope, findings and results
• Assist in building pitch books and other marketing materials
• Research public and private companies and industries

Required profile

• Actively pursuing a full-time bachelor's degree or completing a master's programme; postgraduate students are a plus
• Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the internship
• Willingness to travel to clients and the FTI Consulting offices
• Fluency in English; other languages are a key asset

Required skills

• Preferred: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Preferred: strong interest in business transformation, market modelling and strategic planning
