Internship: A350 Wing Lower Cover Manufacturing Process Analysis

About the role

Airbus is offering a curricular practicum internship for students in their final year of a degree, based in Illescas, Spain. The internship runs from February to July 2027 and is part-time, with a tutor assigned for continuous monitoring. The student prepares a final year training project (TFG) analysing inefficiencies in the A350 wing lower cover manufacturing process and proposing an action plan.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and propose an action plan in the ramp-up context regarding inefficiencies and performance losses
• Justify data acquisition and its relevance
• Analyse and compare data against impacts
• Present analysis outcomes and the proposed action plan
• Plan the deployment of the action plan
• Define a follow-up plan and effectiveness assessment
• Summarise lessons learned and conclusions

Required profile

• Studying a degree in Engineering
• English at minimum level B2 (C1 desirable)
• Spanish at minimum level B1
• General knowledge of materials engineering, industrial planning and organisation, and composites
• Proactiveness, autonomy, analytical and problem-solving skills, team spirit and ability to work in an international environment
