Process Engineer A350 WLC - Illescas Plant

About the role

Airbus Operations in Illescas is looking for a Process Engineer to join its Manufacturing Engineering Team. The engineer acts as the main line-side technical support, managing daily shop-floor issues, keeping operations flowing and driving continuous improvement across production routines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily and on-shift line-side support for technical issues such as missing parts, non-conformities, concessions/DQNs, outstanding work, maintenance and jigs and tools.
• Manage work orders for out-of-cycle manufacturing tasks.
• Escalate recurrent issues and request level-2 support from Work Prep, PPE, Maintenance, MAP and OSW when needed.
• Integrate Work Prep, PPE, Maintenance, MAP and OSW support into the production team's continuous improvement routines.
• Support capacity management by anticipating fluctuations, adapting to Product Life Cycle changes and building team competence.

Required profile

• Aeronautical or industrial engineering degree or a related discipline.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Advanced English and Spanish.
• Nice to have: internship experience at Airbus.
