Investment & Strategy Associate Manager

About the role

Dedale is a provider of strategic intelligence in the technology space, with a team of over 100 research analysts and planners drawing on a network of over 10,000 market professionals, focusing on North America and Europe. Its Research & Investment team has strong expertise in B2B software due diligence. The position is open year-round and involves conducting fundamental research and strategic due diligence on software and technology companies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep fundamental research on software and technology companies
• Perform strategic due diligence and financial analysis on publicly listed and privately owned software and technology companies
• Generate quantitative and qualitative insights through expert interviews
• Collaborate with a team of peers and former Tier 1 management consultants
• Produce high-quality deliverables supporting decisions on multi-million investments
• Share research findings internally and externally
• Monitor identified companies daily and prepare financial research, strategic screening and communication materials for members
• Lead interviews in English with professional experts
• Support process improvement and new company screening

Required profile

• Tier 1 engineering or business school graduate specialising in business, corporate finance, engineering or strategy
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in strategy and business, with several internships in finance, tech, startups or corporate companies
• Excellent analysis skills and strong oral and written communication in English; French, German, Spanish or Italian is a plus
• Passion for technology, innovation and investment
