IT Administrator – Robotics & Cybersecurity

About the role

ABB Robotics is looking for an IT Administrator to build, optimise and maintain the secure IT foundation that enables engineers to develop industry‑leading visual navigation systems. Based in Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona), you will be the first point of contact for product‑related IT issues and will drive innovative solutions across the R&D team.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, manage and optimise on‑prem and cloud IT infrastructure for the Barcelona office and remote sites.
• Collaborate daily with IT peers in Zurich to ensure seamless technical operations and standardised workflows.
• Bridge local sites and global corporate stakeholders to implement ABB Robotics’ IT policies and procedures.
• Enforce robust cybersecurity practices and ensure compliance with global security standards.
• Provide hands‑on endpoint management, software provisioning and day‑to‑day IT support for the local team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in IT Administration, Systems Administration or IT Infrastructure.
• Valid cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
• Proven experience setting up and configuring IT infrastructure for new offices or fast‑growing environments.
