IT Specialist - Madrid Office

About the role

SAMY, a global brand communication agency, is hiring an IT Specialist for its Madrid office. As part of the global IT Digital Workplace structure, you will be the technical point of contact for the local workplace, covering everything from high-end post-production setups to cloud-based SaaS tools and office connectivity. Reporting to the Global IT structure, the role is based in Madrid with occasional travel (about 10%) to other regional offices.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of Apple and PC hardware, including procurement, custom setup, provisioning and tracking via SOTI MDM.
• Manage user environments and provide L1-L3 support for Google Workspace, Slack, Jira and Monday.com in line with global identity policies.
• Maintain and optimise local network performance (WiFi, switches, firewalls) and VPN access.
• Keep devices secure and compliant with ESET AV and corporate policies, while remaining GDPR compliant.
• Help implement global IT standards, automation and security protocols, and keep asset inventories, troubleshooting guides and IT playbooks up to date.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, workplace management or system administration, preferably in a creative, marketing or media agency.
• Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Comfortable working autonomously within a global framework and open to occasional international travel.

Required skills

• Hands-on network knowledge, WiFi optimisation and basic routing/switching.
• SOTI MDM or similar enterprise MDM solutions.
• Administration of cloud collaboration environments such as Google Workspace, Slack and Jira.
