IT Technical Analyst - ServiceNow IRM

About the role

Roche is looking for an IT Technical Analyst for its ServiceNow IRM team in Madrid. This is an entry-level position focused on requirement gathering, supporting project objectives and performing routine data analysis under the guidance of more experienced analysts. You will work on well-defined, routine tasks and help build the foundation of business analysis skills.

Key responsibilities

• Operate within well-defined, routine tasks under close supervision, following established business analysis principles, frameworks and standards, and using existing templates and processes.
• Support senior analysts and solution architects in analysing technical problems, defining problems and identifying root causes.
• Elicit and clarify stakeholder needs, map requirements and help identify and present basic solutions.
• Deliver clearly documented requirements and complete assigned tasks on time and to a good standard.
• Work with agile team members on IT solutions, helping prepare basic project updates, capture stakeholder feedback and clarify requirements on small, well-defined engagements.
• Analyze and document requirements for specific features or functionalities of a single solution.

Required profile

• Entry-level experience in requirement gathering, supporting project objectives and routine data analysis under guidance.
• Eagerness to learn continuously and adherence to business analysis principles and standards.
• Basic understanding of the relevant business or technical domain and supporting technologies.
• Strong collaboration skills, ready to act as an escalation assistant and seek clarification from team members.
• Analytical mindset, able to think in workflows.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of ServiceNow tables, fields and workflow relationships.
• Foundational knowledge of Agile/Scrum, including navigating a backlog and meeting sprint commitments.
• Ability to turn a business policy into a functional technical requirement.
• Plus: knowledge of risk management and IT security, and AI proficiency such as using Claude or similar LLMs for analysis and documentation.
