Jefe/a de Partida – Hotel Barceló Lanzarote

About the role

We are looking for a Jefe/a de Partida to lead the kitchen team at Barceló Lanzarote Mar. The role involves organizing food preparation, supervising recipes and ensuring high standards of hygiene and service in a busy hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the preparation of raw materials and supplies and allocate tasks for efficient workflow.
• Supervise and develop recipes according to menu cycles and food‑handling best practices.
• Direct and monitor the work of assistants and cooks in the preparation of dishes.
• Oversee cleaning, storage and replenishment of food items for the station.
• Ensure hygienic‑sanitary records and controls are completed and applied.
• Assist with basic receiving, internal storage and stock replenishment following established procedures.

Required profile

• Higher‑level training in Kitchen Management, Hospitality or a Tourism degree, with HACCP certification.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar kitchen supervisory position.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Good taste and olfactory memory, creativity and manual dexterity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork orientation and decision‑making ability.

Required skills

• HACCP / food safety management.
• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Operation of kitchen equipment and utensils.
