Junior Campaign Developer (AJO)

About the role

A junior campaign developer (AJO) is needed in Barcelona to help develop and integrate campaign platform technologies. The day starts with a build tracker and a journey design, moves through building and testing email journeys, and ends with client sessions and build documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Build journeys and campaigns in AJO from designs produced by others
• Author email, SMS and push content using the Journey Optimizer designers, templates and content fragments
• Apply personalisation using profile attributes and helper functions
• Run test plans: proofs, test profiles, dry runs, link and render checks
• Log defects, document what was built and keep the build tracker current
• Attend client sessions to take notes and learn the domain

Required profile

• Working knowledge of the AJO canvas: journey vs campaign, events, conditions, wait, split, actions
• Understanding of XDM schema, dataset, audience and real-time profile concepts, able to navigate AEP read-only
• Careful, checklist-driven approach, comfortable admitting when something is unknown

Required skills

• HTML/CSS for email, enough to fix a broken template
• AJO (Journey Optimizer)
