Junior Key Account Manager - Retail (Indirect Channel)

About the role

Kraft Heinz is looking for a Junior Key Account Manager (Jr. KAM) for its Retail Sales Team, within the Iberia Business Unit and based in the Madrid office. The role reports to the Regional Area Manager and focuses on the indirect retail channel (cash & carry and distributors such as Ayala and Dian). It drives profitable growth and improvement activities within the Sales Team in Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Handle relationships and grow sales with regional customer accounts in your area.
• Initiate commercial relationships with targeted new prospects and deliver strong sales fundamentals.
• Develop the Annual Operating Plan (agreements, pricing, new products and innovation listings, campaigns) and implement it for the assigned accounts.
• Develop the Retail channel with Innovation and Trade Marketing activities and identify and implement growth opportunities.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably from a business school.
• 4 years of relevant commercial experience in the retail channel; experience with cash & carry and main indirect channel customers (e.g. Makro, Miquel, Covalco, Ayala, Dian) is a plus.
• Ownership attitude, ability to learn from new challenges and to get results and lead independently.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• EU work permission.

• Proficiency in Spanish and English is appreciated.
• Logical reasoning, analytical approach and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
