Junior Project Manager - Data Projects

About the role

Shalion, a data and insights company serving global manufacturers and brands through digital shelf optimization, retail media and food service aggregators, is looking for a Junior Project Manager in Barcelona. The role ensures the successful delivery and continuous improvement of data projects, sitting at the intersection of product, operations and client success.

Key responsibilities

• Organize the setup of data projects so that customer requirements are met correctly and on time.
• Manage the upkeep of projects after delivery, addressing modifications and issues.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to lead new and existing projects.
• Work on tools to automate the monitoring of data quality.
• Help implement algorithms that optimize processes and improve customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Data-friendly, experienced with Excel and familiar with SQL.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Project, time and organizational management skills; clear communicator and quick thinker.
• Proficiency in Spanish (C1/C2) and English (B1/B2), spoken and written.

What we offer

• Permanent contract, salary from 23,000 to 25,000 EUR gross per year depending on experience.
