Junior Static Stress Engineer (Aerospace)

About the role

SOGECLAIR DIGITAL ENGINEERING, part of the SOGECLAIR group founded in 1962, is looking for a Junior Static Stress Engineer (m/w/d) with 2-5 years of proven experience in the aerospace industry to join its team in Getafe. The role covers static structural analysis of aircraft metallic and composite structures and supports design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform static structural analysis of aircraft metallic and composite structures using Finite Element Models (FEM)
• Extract loads and stresses, generate spectra and mission files
• Extract material data, geometry details and fastener specifications from part and assembly drawings
• Support design teams by assessing structural modifications, non-conformities and engineering changes
• Create FEMs using geometric data from part and assembly drawings
• Prepare stress certification dossiers

Required profile

• 2 to 5 years of proven experience in static analysis in the aerospace industry
• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience working with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers or suppliers on specific stress activities
• English at B1 minimum and fluent Spanish
• Detail-oriented, collaborative and analytical, able to work in multidisciplinary, international environments under strict confidentiality
