Lead Business & Technology Architect – Product Lifecycle Costing

About the role

Business Architects connect strategy to execution, aligning business goals, processes, data and teams to deliver measurable outcomes. This role focuses on PLM, BOM, product design and financial product costing, driving end-to-end alignment across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and finance. It leads business transformation initiatives, optimizes processes, leverages AI-driven insights and creates roadmaps, models and solutions for how products are designed, built and delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the architecture vision and roadmap for product lifecycle and product costing transformation, and identify opportunities, threats and limitations
• Create detailed system designs, blueprints and models for complex supply chain processes, including SAP IBP, S/4HANA and MS4
• Research and recommend new technologies such as AI and analytics
• Guide investment decisions so that costs to create value are understood
• Partner with business leaders, enterprise architects and engineering teams, and design integration strategies, data contracts and APIs between SAP and non-SAP systems
• Lead design governance and maintain contacts with business units and information system teams

Required profile

• Four-year or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field, or commensurate experience
• Advanced university degree preferred
• Typically 7-10 years of experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, IT or a related field
• Proven experience in PLM and/or product costing within SAP environments (SAP S/4HANA, SAP PLM, SAP CO-PC)

Required skills

• Planning and analysis, including models, graphical representations and conceptual abstractions
• Deep business acumen in PLM, BOM, product design and product costing
• Understanding of product data structures, lifecycle processes and costing methodologies
• Strong communication, consulting and stakeholder engagement skills
