Legal Counsel

About the role

Ogury is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its expanding legal team. Based in Barcelona (or Madrid) on a hybrid schedule, you will act as a trusted advisor on privacy, data protection, commercial contracts, and corporate governance, supporting the company’s rapid growth across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on GDPR, CCPA and other privacy frameworks.
• Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of data processing agreements, privacy policies and terms of service.
• Support privacy‑by‑design implementation across products and services.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise internal stakeholders on compliance implications.
• Assist with commercial contract negotiations and corporate governance matters.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as a corporate or privacy lawyer, preferably in a technology or adtech environment.
• Business‑oriented mindset with the ability to deliver pragmatic, solutions‑driven legal guidance.
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
