Logistics Contract Manager Support (Temp Agency)

About the role

An opportunity for a Logistics Contract Manager Support has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Logistics Service Manager. The position is offered through a temp agency.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure performance management and improvement control of logistics activities.
• Implement and monitor KPIs covering performance, cost, quality and the environment.
• Ensure Airbus solutions, processes, standards and policies are applied in logistics activities.
• Manage problem resolution with a quick and simple alert and escalation process.
• Propose and manage local improvement initiatives, share experiences and best practices through the network of logistics service managers.
• Contribute to optimising end-to-end solutions and the logistics footprint, including infrastructure evolution.
• Ensure standard distribution resources are of the right quality and quantity.
• Evaluate the logistics impact of short- and medium-term planning changes.

Required profile

• Aeronautical or industrial engineering degree or a related discipline.
• Experience in contract management, financial management, engineering or logistics is desirable.
• Advanced level in English.
• High adaptability to new topics, new business and networking.
