Manufacturing Engineer - Eurofighter RHW (Combat Spain)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for the Eurofighter RHW (Combat Spain) programme, based in Getafe (Madrid). The role sits in the Manufacturing Engineering family and involves supporting manufacturing processes, documentation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and update documentation and technical instructions for design changes, improvements, process modifications, innovation solutions and 3D work orders.
• Provide shop-floor support to solve issues during manufacturing processes.
• Work with the Material Review Board on defect dispositions, HNCs and waivers.
• Co-design with the design office to improve and approve new designs, MCAs and RFAs.
• Take part in multi-functional teams solving issues on the manufacturing line.
• Maintain manufacturing structures, processes and associated documentation (work orders, technical instructions, job cards).
• Drive manufacturing feedback through OSF, Kaizen and practical problem solving.
• Create and develop competitive technologies, assess new technologies and adapt them to business-line needs, with product configuration awareness.

Required profile

• Aeronautical engineering degree or a related discipline.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering or design.
• Advanced level of English.
• Nice to have: experience at Airbus, in Air Power Operations (TAO) or commercial aircraft operations.

Required skills

• CATIA, Sipla, SAP, MEP, DBC, DMU4D, 3DAV.
• High adaptability, teamwork, proactivity, innovation and a drive for continuous improvement.
