Manufacturing Engineer - Process Engineer

About the role

A Manufacturing Engineer position is open within Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate joins the Manufacturing Engineering Team, which drives industrial design, standardizes manufacturing processes and supports shop floor execution in a multicultural, cross-functional environment linking Engineering, Supply Chain and Shop Floor Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain to introduce manufacturing best practices, define build processes and specify industrial assets, jigs and tooling.
• Create and update routings, As-Prepared BoMs and Standard Operating Instructions, managing Delta 2 configuration management and technical sequencing.
• Calculate standard time values, perform Standard Work and drive shop floor continuous improvement and CAPEX planning.
• Run PFMEA/FMEA risk analyses, ensure Health & Safety compliance and take part in Quality Control Boards.
• Work with Production, Maintenance and Supply Chain to resolve escalated work preparation issues and manage missing parts or MRP impacts.
• Drive the first installation implementation, run feedback loops and assess the industrial impact of design changes with the IA, ISE and TDE teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Previous experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Work Preparation or Production in the aerospace or industrial sector.
• Advanced English; Spanish is highly valued.
• Strong communication, adaptability in international teams and a continuous improvement mindset.
