Marketing Internship (Trainee)

About the role

SLS Barcelona, a five-star urban resort located in the Port Forum waterfront district, is looking for a Marketing Trainee. Working under the guidance of the Marketing team, the trainee supports the development and implementation of the marketing strategy, making sure that marketing activities reflect the SLS brand's identity, values and objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Create presentations, visual materials and branded content for internal and external stakeholders, keeping them consistent with brand guidelines.
• Develop branding strategies and messaging together with the team, in close collaboration with the sales department to provide commercial tools.
• Support the planning and execution of public relations initiatives, including media relations, influencer collaborations and brand partnership projects.
• Help organise events, manage guest lists, RSVP processes, VIP communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Co-coordinate with the Lead Brand Ambassador on-site marketing activities during events to enhance guest experience and engagement.

Required profile

• Student of a bachelor's or master's degree in hospitality or a related field.
• Ability to sign an agreement with the school for a period of preferably 6 months.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
• Team player who takes ownership of issues, learns quickly and adapts to the SLS culture.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
