Master Data Specialist

About the role

The Global Master Data Specialist reports to the Global Master Data Lead and the Global Accounts Payable Operations and Master Data Manager at JBT SSC, and supports European and North American entities within the JBT group. The role focuses on data accuracy, timeliness and efficiency, and all work must follow a strong internal controls framework and meet the Global Service Level Agreement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the global master data base (customers, suppliers, employees and others) with a focus on automation, data integrity and global consistency.
• Administer and support the corporate credit card program for employees worldwide (credit limits, new and terminated employees).
• Manage the global Travel & Entertainment program (CONCUR): configuration, enhancements, process improvements, administration and statutory rule maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with global statutory tax rules (1099, 1042, VAT and others).
• Take part in projects that reduce manual processes, maintain training materials and collaborate with auditors and stakeholders.
• Join ad-hoc projects such as entity migrations and ERP implementations, and ensure all transactions comply with internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance; 2-3 years of experience in master data processes management in a multinational company can replace the degree.
• Experience managing multicultural, multidisciplinary teams in an international environment.
• Fluent spoken and written Spanish and English; another language is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SOX/SOD and internal controls.
• Proficiency with different ERPs and strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Data management and data accuracy.
