Monitoring and Observability Technician

About the role

Kyndryl is looking for a technician with at least two years of experience in monitoring and observability of infrastructure and applications, focused on operational administration, analysis, diagnosis and evolution of monitoring capabilities. The person will join a monitoring and observability service in a broad and heterogeneous technology environment, mainly working with Pandora FMS and Dynatrace, and synthetic monitoring with Selenium.

Required skills

• Pandora FMS: configuration and maintenance of monitoring, agents and modules, alert definition and tuning, event and problem analysis, dashboard creation, adding new monitored elements and diagnosing platform issues
• Dynatrace: OneAgent, ActiveGate, metrics, logs and traces, dashboards, problems analysis and root cause diagnosis, application and infrastructure monitoring, synthetic monitoring
• Basic DQL knowledge
• Selenium for synthetic monitoring: script creation and maintenance, functional check automation and synthetic execution failure analysis
• Nice to have: Elastic Stack / Elasticsearch (queries, dashboards, logs, indices and data streams concepts) and Datadog

Required profile

• Informatics, telecommunications or related degree
• Interest in monitoring, observability and IT operations technologies
• Learning ability, teamwork and customer orientation
• Basic Linux and/or Windows system administration and basic network, protocol and IT architecture knowledge
