MuleSoft & API Developer – Digital Campus

About the role

Join the Digital Campus at Airbus Helicopters in Albacete as a MuleSoft & API Developer. You will design, build and maintain APIs and integration flows that connect enterprise applications, databases and third‑party systems, ensuring they follow corporate guidelines and are deployed to the shared MuleSoft API gateway.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test APIs and integration workflows using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4).
• Define API contracts with RAML or OpenAPI Specification and create reusable assets.
• Implement data transformations with DataWeave 2.0.
• Write unit tests with MUnit and support debugging and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation for APIs, integration flows and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field.
• Basic understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services, JSON and XML formats.
• Fundamental knowledge of SQL databases.
