Nordic Assistance Coordinator – Fuengirola / Torrevieja

About the role

Viking Assistance Group, a roadside and travel assistance company owned by the largest insurance group in the Nordics, is expanding its Viking Travel Care business, which offers 24/7 travel and medical assistance to travellers and employees abroad. It is hiring Assistance Coordinators fluent in Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish to join its teams in Spain, at the Fuengirola and Torrevieja offices. The position is full-time, with rotating day, evening, night and weekend shifts; remote work is not applicable.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to customers' needs, collect information and give answers about insurance coverage
• Refer customers to doctors or clinics and send payment guarantees
• Arrange medical repatriations and book hotels
• Collaborate with partners in the insurance and assistance business
• Deliver excellent customer service so that customers receive the assistance they need

Required profile

• Fluency in one or more Nordic languages, written and spoken
• Strong command of English, written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
• Relevant background such as tourism, international or language studies, or health, insurance or customer service experience
• Experience as a tour guide or in the travel industry is often a good match
