Supervisor - Emergency Medical and Travel Assistance

About the role

Nordic Talent is recruiting Supervisors for Viking Travel Care, which provides 24/7 travel and medical assistance to travelers and employees abroad. The Supervisors support the Assistance Alarm Centre teams that handle emergency medical and travel-related cases, ensuring the smooth operation of the 24/7 emergency response services. The position is based in Fuengirola or Torrevieja, Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of assistance coordinators handling emergency medical and travel-related cases.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
• Act as an escalation point for complex or high-priority cases.
• Liaise with medical providers, hospitals and international partners.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training and feedback.
• Take part in shift planning and support Team Leaders.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in emergency medical assistance or travel insurance assistance (minimum 2-3 years).
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment (minimum 2 years).
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to work in Fuengirola or Torrevieja, Spain.

Required skills

• Fluency in English and a Nordic language.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
