Payroll Administrator Danish-speaking

About the role

SD Worx is expanding its SAP Managed Payroll Services team and seeks a Payroll Administrator who will handle Danish payroll for multinational clients. You will translate complex payroll requirements into streamlined solutions, supporting both local and cross‑border operations.

Key responsibilities

• Orchestrate end‑to‑end payroll delivery for Danish customers.
• Manage process deviations, assess impact and propose solutions.
• Own change requests from requirements through pricing, implementation, documentation and training.
• Ensure alignment with global and local process standards while meeting client needs.
• Maintain and update SOPs, DWIs and guidelines.
• Collaborate with clients and country teams to guarantee smooth operations.
• Support design and enhancement of standardized yet locally adaptable processes.
• Handle payroll cases and act as first escalation point.
• Ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery in line with SLAs.
• Support system updates, testing and implementations (UAT, parallel runs).
• Maintain regular client communication for efficient processing.
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as tax authorities and benefits providers.
• Manage year‑end processing and statutory reporting.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in Danish payroll processing.
• Proven ability to work with international clients and complex payroll operations.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and focus on process improvement.
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high‑quality delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Danish and English.
