Presales Multi-Tech Architect

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Presales Multi-Tech Architect in Las Rozas. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. It focuses on technical selling to customers and partners, architecting solutions that meet customer business and technical needs across hardware, software, services and as-a-service offerings, and supporting sales teams with proposals, demonstrations and technical advice.

Key responsibilities

• Architect solutions and write proposals that meet customer business and technical requirements, identifying key risks and value points for the account team.
• Translate functional designs into scalable technical architectures and show customers how to migrate and integrate technologies.
• Track industry trends, emerging technologies and competitor activity, and contribute to conferences, events and social media.
• Design and deliver solutions, participate in account business planning, and map the right partner to each opportunity.
• Nurture the pipeline, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and take part in sales forecast meetings.
• Build relationships with customer technical teams and executives, and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• First-level university technical degree or equivalent; advanced degree in technology preferred.
• 4-8 years of technical experience in IT, focused on technical consulting and solution selling.
• Relevant industry certifications are strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with solution configurations, demos and proofs of concept.
• Strong knowledge of the company's portfolio, as-a-service model and CRM tools.
• Written and verbal communication in English and the local language, with consultative and value selling skills.
• Knowledge of TCO/ROI, financial models and partner offerings.
