Process Engineer

About the role

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), a global medical technology company, is hiring a Process Engineer in Fraga, Huesca. The role provides technical support to manufacturing operations and coordinates and leads process improvement projects together with the maintenance and quality departments.

Key responsibilities

• Control, monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to reduce losses (performance/OEE, waste, quality notifications) and implement continuous improvement methodologies.
• Plan and carry out problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Understand processes so that best practices can be applied and working methods standardized.
• Lead or support manufacturing projects such as material changes and process improvements through design control, producing documented research and analysis records.
• Ensure compliance with BD quality policies, procedures and practices through communication, training and education of engineering principles.

Required profile

• BS degree or equivalent experience in engineering (mechanical, electrical or biomedical).
• 1 to 3 years of experience with manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong drive for results and clear accountability for completing assigned tasks and projects accurately.
