Procurement Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

Velto Renewables is seeking a Procurement Manager to centralise, standardise and optimise purchasing across its solar and wind portfolio in Spain. Reporting to the Head of PMO, you will ensure continuous operation of renewable assets while driving cost efficiency and vendor excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all company‑wide purchases, covering operations, maintenance, finance, legal, IT, consulting and services.
• Support O&M teams by guaranteeing timely availability of materials, spare parts and services to avoid downtime.
• Identify, qualify and onboard reliable suppliers, verifying certifications, financial stability and relevant experience.
• Maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance (quality, cost, delivery, service) and address under‑performance.
• Compare quotations, negotiate pricing and payment terms, and enforce strict budget control.
• Issue purchase orders, track deliveries and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to meet timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• 5‑8 years of procurement or purchasing experience in industrial or energy sectors.
• At least 2 years of experience within renewable energy (solar PV, wind or BESS).
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP or Navision is desirable.
