Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage end‑to‑end administrative purchasing for our Barcelona office. You will work closely with local and international suppliers, ensuring that office supplies, IT equipment, facility services and other operational needs are sourced efficiently and compliantly.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily procurement of office supplies, IT hardware, travel, cleaning, security and outsourced services.
• Source suppliers, request quotations, compare prices, support contract reviews and place orders.
• Maintain and regularly update the local supplier database for transparency and compliance.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding, including documentation, system registration, contract filing and invoice verification.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues and assist with periodic evaluations.
• Ensure all procurement activities follow internal policies, audit requirements and corporate governance standards.
• Support process optimisation, policy development and cost‑analysis reporting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to guarantee smooth procurement operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in administrative or general services procurement.
• Native‑level Spanish and fluent business English; Catalan or Chinese a plus.
• Strong knowledge of the Spanish supplier market and local procurement practices.
