Product Consultant - Reporting Solutions

About the role

The Product Consultant, Reporting Solutions supports Morningstar Publishing System (MPS) clients across the EMEA region, ensuring a high-quality client experience during ongoing product use, enhancements and post-sales support. As a key point of contact, the role combines relationship management, product expertise and cross-functional collaboration. Based in Madrid, the position reports to the Senior Manager, Support EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the MPS EMEA client base to ensure timely production, quality assurance and delivery of projects for new and existing clients.
• Serve as the single point of contact for post-sales services and ongoing relationship support, owning and resolving data, functional and technical issues for assigned clients.
• Contribute to the business by sharing client feedback with product managers, liaising with data and sales colleagues and helping improve processes.
• Build effective client relationships, anticipate client needs and understand how clients use and manage the products and data.
• Document the client's business, functional and technical requirements in a client-friendly document and set up feedback loops to improve service offerings.
• Keep clients informed about data, research and technology solutions and work with development and QA teams to explain prototypes and specifications.
• Coordinate with sales and customer success teams to give timely feedback on client queries and customer experience insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Fluency in English; at least one additional European language preferred.
• Previous client-facing experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, organisational and multitasking skills, with an analytical and strategic approach.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, handle ambiguity and build internal and external partnerships.

Required skills

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Salesforce.
• Familiarity with Agile and project management is a plus.

What we offer

• Base salary of EUR 29,000 to 39,000 per year, with a 5% annual target bonus depending on qualifications and experience.
• A hybrid work model of four days in office per week.
